Here are just a few of my recent works.
These are some of my spray painted “eternal” flowers. I use a custom mixture to soften sola wood flowers. I rotate them on various papers and plastics for days to ensure even drying. I use many cans of high-end spray paint to create natural colour variations. I prefer over saturation when it comes to colour. :) This piece turned out fabulously. These are part of a larger install at an Atherton, California chateau style mansion. The home owners are very unique in their style.
I custom painted thousands of flowers and many faux leaves for a grand and whimsical end result. The home owners decided to split one larger piece as well as the orientation at the last minute. The flowers became a the focal point instead of a midway break between the floral mannequin and original abstract background.
The background is a tryptic of shimmer, glitter, spray paint, acrylic on premium canvas. I added chandelier crystals to pronounce the depth otherwise lost and hidden in floral clusters. There are also other elements which can be seen in the videos that I shall soon post.
Below is a custom floral piece for a Palo Alto mansion renovation. I designed and finished the wood box. It is part of a growing series. I will post videos soon. Hand softened and spray-painted foliage. Hand softened and spray-painted eternal flowers. I used the home owner’s chosen colour pallet.
